It's been a while but I am back with new work and a new zest for life,I have some health issues that have been weighing me down but I'm on it and moving forward.
I have been working on a new book and painting oodles of illustrations and will be uploading some free printables in the next week or so.
Keep and eye out!

Book short listed...

So proud to say that the book that I illustrated for author and poet Caroline Tuohey has been short listed for the Speech Pathology Australia's book of the year award 2019,so pleased for Caroline who works so hard and with such passion in all that she does.

Boof Goes To Beauty School

I recently had the wonderful privilege of illustrating my first book with Author Caroline Tuohey,it was  an exciting and incredible journey of learning and growing as an illustrator.
Caroline gave me the honour of illustrating her book 'Boof Goes To Beauty School' a book about the relationship between a father and his daughters,their growth and adventures,it was also very loosely based on a real father and his daughters.

Illustrating for kids.

Its been a hectic month,lots of painting and designing for some child friendly art and gearing up for Christmas illustrations also some small client based projects,and I am finally making headway so that I can put out some food and nature inspired illustration into the mix.

I have had my head down for weeks with the book "Boof  Goes To Beauty School"that I am illustrating for the wonderful Author Caroline Tuohey  http://carolinetuohey.com/  ,my husband and I were flipping through the latest lot of finished illustrations and I can see the book coming to life,its so exciting and I can not wait to see it in its final printed beauty.

I love to do illustration for children,it takes you to another place,a better place where life is full of wonder and joy,colour and laughter,fun and whimsy.

Back to blogging,new designs and some cute little illustrations.

 I have been so busy with the book that I am illustrating and with new designs that I have had time to Blog,but I am determined to get this blog going and upload current work,tutorials,hints and tips among other things,it is time to get blogging!

 I am now including food illustration and animal illustration to my business,I still love illustrating for kids but I need to branch out,I will also be doing card designs,calendar designs and so much more,so exciting,I can't wait to grow my portfolio.
